Booking Terms & Conditions

Stay Policy

Check-in and check-out

  • Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may incur additional charges.

Payment

  • Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or cash.
  • A pre-authorization will be processed on your card prior to arrival.

Damage to property

  • Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to Skaha Suites property caused by themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible.

Smoking Policy

  • All suites and our entire premises are non-smoking. A penalty will be charged to guests who do not adhere to this policy.

Reservation

  • A credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Special requests are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

Pets

  • Skaha Suites is not a pet-friendly establishment.
  • While we primarily do not accommodate pets, exceptions might be made for very small dogs.
  • Any guest wishing to bring a small dog must seek prior approval from Skaha Suites management. Approval is at the sole discretion of the management and is not guaranteed.
  • If approval is granted, guests are responsible for the behavior, safety, and any damages caused by their dog during the stay.
  • Additional one-time pet fee: $85.
  • Any damages or additional cleaning required due to the pet will incur extra charges.
  • Approved dogs must be kept on a leash in common areas and are not allowed in certain zones of the establishment, as designated by management.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog both inside and outside the premises.
  • Guests must ensure their dog does not disturb other patrons. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in the request for the guest and their pet to leave.

Terms and Conditions

Limitation of liability

  • Skaha Suites is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items during your stay. We recommend using the safe provided in your suite for valuables.

Amendments

  • Skaha Suites reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions and stay policies without prior notice.

Right to Refuse Service

  • Skaha Suites reserves the right to refuse service or evict guests who do not adhere to our policies or display inappropriate behavior.

Force Majeure

  • Skaha Suites shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disasters), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation or terrorist activities.

Booking Policies

Booking policy

  • To secure your reservation, a non-refundable payment of 25% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking.
  • If you cannot make the full payment at the time of booking, we offer the flexibility of splitting the remaining balance into two additional payments. The first installment of 50% of the total booking amount is due 3 months before the scheduled arrival date. The final installment of 25% of the total booking amount is due 1 month before the scheduled arrival date.
  • If you are unable to make the final payment 1 month before your arrival, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements. Failure to make the full payment by the specified date may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

Force majeure

  • Skaha Suites is not responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, the standard cancellation policy may be waived at the discretion of Skaha Suites.
  • Skaha Suites reserves the right to cancel or modify your reservation in case of unforeseen circumstances or issues with the property. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or alternative accommodations of equal or greater value.
  • Please review these policies carefully before making your reservation. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please reach out to our customer service team.

No-show policy

  • If a guest does not show up on the scheduled check-in date and has not provided prior notice of cancellation, the entire reservation cost will be charged.

Alterations to booking

  • Any changes to the reservation, including date adjustments or reduction in the number of nights or guests, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • If a group wishes to reduce their stay to less than the 3-night minimum after the booking has been made, the original 3-night charge will still apply.

Cancellation policy

  • If you cancel a confirmed reservation, the initial 25% non-refundable payment will not be refunded. The remaining amount depends on when you accepted the reservation and how soon before check-in you canceled it:
  • SMALL GROUP (up to 6 guests)
  • More than 15 days prior check-in, 75% refund
  • 7 days before check-in, 50% refund
  • 3 days prior to check-in, full payment will be non-refundable

Special request

  • Any special requests, including room preferences or amenities, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Amenities Usage Policy

Eligibility

  • Amenities are exclusively for the use of registered guests of Skaha Suites. Guests may not bring outside visitors to use the amenities without prior permission.

Safety Precautions

  • For your safety, please follow all posted guidelines and instructions when using any amenity. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Reservations

  • Some amenities might require a reservation or have a limited capacity. Please check with the front desk for more details.

Liability

  • Skaha Suites is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or loss of personal belongings while using the amenities. Guests are encouraged to use lockers or safe deposit boxes for valuables.

Maintenance

  • From time to time, certain amenities might be closed for maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Hours of Operation

  • Guests are advised to use the amenities only during the designated hours of operation. Any use outside these hours is strictly prohibited unless otherwise specified.

Proper Attire

  • Appropriate attire is required at all times. For example, swimsuits are mandatory in the pool area, and proper gym attire should be worn in the fitness center.

Conduct

  • Please maintain a respectful atmosphere in all amenity areas. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in restricted access or eviction from the amenity area.

Cleanliness

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. This includes returning equipment to its original place, disposing of trash, and wiping down machines or surfaces after use.

Capacity Restrictions

  • Due to safety and comfort reasons, there might be a limit on the number of people allowed in certain amenities at one time. Please respect any such restrictions.

Failure to adhere to the above policy may result in additional charges, restricted access to amenities, or eviction from the premises without a refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all guests.
